Jadu is combining magic & technology to build the definitive Web3 Augmented Reality platform. To date, we’ve raised more than $45 million to fuel the development of an AR game world launching in 2022.
We’re designing breakthrough AR experiences that invite players to interact with the world around them in novel ways. The Jadu mobile app blends physical and digital reality to create unprecedented and evolving long-form storytelling. Players connect their Ethereum wallet and access AR gameplay with their favorite NFT avatar. We’ve also dreamt up NFT items that work cross-functionally with any avatar including jetpacks and hoverboards.
Our first item, the Jadu Jetpack, sold out in 20 seconds and has more than 30x in value since release. Jadu’s sophomore collection, Jadu Hoverboards, made $4.4M in primary sales and features ultra rare hoverboard collaborations with cultural icons including seven-time Formula One world champion, Lewis Hamilton; Canadian musician and internet sensation, GRIMES; legendary American rapper, Snoop Dogg; visual artist, Mimi Onuoha and NFT curator, Trippy. Recently, Jadu designed and auctioned off their rarest hoverboard with Sir Elton John to raise funds for the Elton John AIDS Foundation during Pride Month 2022.
Jadu has gone from releasing headset based narrative AR at the Sundance and Tribeca Film Festivals to building educational AR with Serena Williams to building a volumetric AR app with artists like Lil Nas X, K Camp & Pussy Riot. The team has 40+ XR projects under its belt and is widely considered pioneers in the AR space with their work being taught at institutions like MIT, UC Berkeley and USC.

About Asad J. Malik:
Asad J. Malik is an augmented reality pioneer and CEO/Founder of Jadu. His critically-acclaimed and globally exhibited narrative storytelling projects Terminal 3 and A Jester’s Tale premiered at Tribeca and Sundance Film Festivals, positioning Asad as a visionary in the space before completing his undergraduate degree. Asad was named one of Variety’s 10 Innovators to Watch, Rolling Stone’s Future 25, Forbes’ 30 Under 30 and Adweek’s Young Influentials. He now sits on the Board of Trustees for Bennington College as a recent graduate.
